近年来,内蒙古草地的固碳现状与潜力研究受到国内外科学家的广泛关注,地理资源研究所于贵瑞研究小组系统地分析了开垦、刈割、封育对草地土壤和土壤组分的碳固持速率和潜力、并探讨了增温和增加降雨等气候变化情景对未来内蒙古草地固碳潜力的影响。
相关的研究成果已于近期分别在《Agriculture Ecosystem & Environment》、《Journal of Environmental Quality》、《Journal of Geographical Sciences》期刊发表。
